What you would learn in Industrial IoT on Google Cloud course?
This is the first course in our Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) series on Google Cloud. This course covers all aspects of the Industrial IoT network architecture, from devices and sensors to analysis. The course focuses on sensors and devices, but the emphasis is on the cloud aspect. Learn how important it is to scale, devices communications as well as process data streaming. The course employs real devices within the labs to enable you to concentrate on the cloud aspect of IIoT. The course is different from most Google Cloud courses because there is a minimal amount of video. Most learning is conducted through short readings, tests, and laboratory exercises. The course is about 11-12 hours, with six hours spent in labs. At the end of the course, you'll know how to create a streaming data pipeline, create registers with Cloud IoT Core, topics, and subscriptions using Cloud Pub/Sub, store data on Google Cloud Storage, and query the data with BigQuery and gain data-driven insights using Dataprep. Learn and apply these skills during practical labs.
