What you would learn in PayPal Payment Integration with PHP, Laravel and Symfony course?
PayPal is the world's most used online payment processor. In this course, we'll discover how to accept payment for goods and services from customers by implementing authentic web-based applications using the PHP language. This course is based on PayPal SDK Version 1.
In this class, I will be focusing on the PayPal Checkout feature and how it is implemented in PHP with the help of PayPal rest API, which is the latest and most efficient method to manage online payments offered by PayPal. With it, we can take online payment for single or multiple products or services that handle subscriptions and automatically handle notifications of transactions through PayPal and more.
We will be learning PayPal integration (PayPal Checkout) in PHP by creating two real applications: a simple online shopping cart and a tiny online video-based subscription app. I will create each one of these applications entirely from scratch and in three different versions:
in pure PHP, using the model-view-controller approach (files included for every coding lecture)
within the Laravel in Laravel and Symfony PHP frameworks that have an authentic, secure login and registration systems ( files included for each coding lesson)
PayPal Checkout is the most recent rest API-based solution for handling the processing of payments. It's incredibly flexible. It can build anything you like, including:
eCommerce website that offers a range of items to offer
A website with a one product or service that you wish to offer
Subscription billing websites
Backend to your mobile application
Additionally, you will learn how to apply PayPal Webhooks, an API-based solution to manage automated transaction notifications. For instance, if a user cancels his subscription using his PayPal account and the application is alerted, the administrator will be able to block access to videos, etc. We will be deploying our subscription application to Heroku to test the notifications.
