What you would learn in C Programming course?
C can be described as a general-purpose programming language for computers. It was invented around 1970 through Dennis Ritchie at Bell Labs and continues to be extensively used and popular. Through design, C's functions correspond to the features of the CPU that is targeted. C is used in operating systems, device drivers, and protocols, although it is less used for applications software. It is a common feature in computers that span from the biggest supercomputers to miniature micro control systems and embedded devices.
The successor of the language B, C was created to create utilities that ran on Unix. It was used to update the core of the Unix operating system. In the early 80s, C was gaining popularity. It has become among the top commonly utilized programming languages and has C compilers compatible with almost all modern operating systems and computer architectures. C has been standardized by ANSI since 1989 (ANSI C) and by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
C is a crucial procedural language that supports the structured program, lexical variables scope, and recursion using a static system. It was developed to be compiled to give access to memory at a low level and language constructs mapped efficiently to machine-readable instructions, all with only minimal runtime support. Despite its limited capabilities, the language was created to support cross-platform programming. Standards-compliant C programs designed to be portable could be built for many computer platforms and operating systems, with only minor modifications to their source code.
In this course, you'll learn the fundamentals of using C in your daily life. Through numerous exercises, you'll learn about the programming language and its elements.
