Welcome to this class. Networking is one of the foundations that make up OpenStack as well as OpenStack Networking was explicitly designed to facilitate the programmability of Software-Defined Networks and Software-Defined Network. After that, a series of lectures will be devoted to OpenDaylight (ODL), OpenContrail, and their integration with OpenStack Networking. The course will then introduce participants to the Open Network Operating System (ONOS), rapidly becoming a carrier-grade SDN platform.
