What you would learn in RPG Core Combat Creator: Learn Intermediate Unity C# Coding course?
Role-Playing Games can be challenging to design as they have multiple gameplay systems that interact. We simplify the process for players! Learn step-by-step how to create the basis of a sound RPG combat system - starting from scratch.
In this class, we'll focus on the fundamentals of a good RPG. We'll give your players an enjoyable battle scene on a designed level. It is based on an excellent game design developed using a robust code structure. The course will be based on our design; however, you can customize the game individually.
The highly acclaimed course has been more than 20% funded on Kickstarter and is intended for intermediate users in using Unity. We recommend attending at least the first part of the Complete Unity Developer 2D or 3D course or equivalent as a prerequisite.
The course can be taken as a separate course or used as the initial component of the RPG series. The other three courses in this series will teach the Inventory system, Shops, and Abilities, as well as Dialogs and Quests.
This is a complete and realistic introduction to real-world game development. We'll walk you through the process step by step and with every decision backed by evidence and all options considered.
Do you want something a bit different, to begin with? Explore GameDev's other classes, look to the "green" logo, and follow your guide.
We'll focus on the movement of players, NavMesh navigation, AI pathfinding saving, and loading systems, basic pick-ups by using assets packs, debug codes, particle effects, and much more. We'll also provide you with the most robust structure of code to manage more complex projects by setting up namespaces.
It is essential to have a basic understanding of Unity along with C# before you get to the point of starting. We'll teach you advanced programming techniques, such as C# delegates, co-routines, interfaces, and more.
