Beginning from the beginning, I'll tell you the basics of what JavaScript is and how it works, what it can do and why we use it in the first place.
This class will cover all the information required to be a successful JavaScript developer.
The class is geared towards beginners for those who are unfamiliar with JavaScript or already have some experience and want a comprehensive course that will take you up a notch. You must have an understanding of HTML and CSS to make the most of this course.
If you've never taken one of my workshops before now, you should know that my name is Chris, and I've been developing websites for over 20 years.
Alongside, I've been instructing new developers for seven years in both online classes as well as leading boot camps for web development too.
The course begins by giving you an excellent foundation in JavaScript that covers the fundamentals, including arrays, functions, objects, events and the web APIs loops, conditional statements and loops, and a comprehensive examination of objects, math, and date timers drawing onto an image on the screen, as well as all the information you must learn about.
The entire range of topics is presented in a clear and organized manner while constructing practical projects along the way. With real-world examples and mini-challenges as well.
We have built a fully functional video player with fully customizable controls. It also includes a fun game of shape drops using Drag and Drop.
In the next section, we will learn some more complicated components like the async JavaScript hoisting, scope, and closures. We finish off with two more projects. We develop a small app, known as leaving so quickly, that is a pop-up with an exit-intent to lure users by offering a discount when they want to leave your website. The class will be completed with a fully functional JavaScript carousel of images.
The folder contains a project file we'll be adding on as we progress, which can be an essential guide in the future.
