What you would learn in Arduino: Make an IoT environment monitor course?
This course is intended to help beginners build their circuits. I will guide you to get to grips with the basics of making circuits using the Arduino prototyping boards, and at the end of this course, you'll have an internet-connected home monitoring device that you can build yourself!
The only requirement is an understanding of basic concepts like current, voltage, and resistance and the ability to install and download software onto your personal computer. Fundamental knowledge of programming is an advantage but isn't essential.
As you progress, you'll learn about sensors, programming as well as communications.
The course is divided into three sections:
Part 1. is an introduction that will guide you to build your first circuit and get you excited for more.
Part 2 is a guide on creating use of the Arduino with a focus on using the Integrated Development Environment and the sketching language.
The third part is all about creating JING. JING (not an acronym!) is the system for monitoring the environment, which you'll build in pieces or line by line.

1) An Arduino (I suggest a genuine Arduino Uno)
2) A photoresistor

4.) A BMP085 sensor for barometric breakout
5.) The screen is 16x2. It that is based on the driver Hitachi HD44780 (or compatible, which is extremely frequent)
6.) A potentiometer
