What you would learn in Consuming APIs with Angular course?
In this class, you'll be taught how to build your Angular application that can consume data from the user API.
This course will teach you how to create an API from beginning to finish. This course will also cover creating and defining an API that exposes API Endpoints via HTTP and handling HTTP requests and file uploads via API Endpoints. The course covers the testing of API Endpoints (using the HTTP client such as Postman).
The course is brief and focuses on building an Angular application, which uses Bootstrap to create the UI components and uses the Random User API to fetch the user's information and display the user's location on a map with an API called the Leaflet Map API.
In this course, you'll learn how to build an Angular application using Angular CLI. The Angular CLI can be described as a command line interface tool you utilize to create, initialize, build, and manage Angular applications from the command line.
This course will teach you how to create and use Angular components. Components are the primary building component of Angular applications. Each component comprises:
An HTML template that defines what is rendered on the page.
The TypeScript class which defines the behavior
A CSS selector defines how the component is utilized in templates.
If you wish, CSS styles are applied to the template.
The majority of front-end applications must communicate with a server via the HTTP protocol to upload or download data and to connect to other services on the backend. Angular offers an HTTP client HTTP API available to Angular applications, called the HttpClient services class.
Routing is a crucial aspect of any application. For single-page apps, you can alter the content the user sees by displaying or hiding parts of the screen that correspond to specific components instead of connecting to the server to create the new page. When users are performing tasks and tasks, they must move between the various views you've defined. This course will demonstrate the way the Angular Router works.
An Angular Resolver can be used to pre-fetch some data while the user is moving from one direction to the next. It is an efficient method to improve the user experience by loading data before the user navigates to a particular element. A case study is provided during this class to demonstrate the practical application of Resolvers.
