If you've got an understanding of C#, it's time to go deeper and understand the intermediate language capabilities of C#.
In this 10-hour Track that you'll discover how to make use of the integrated query language of C#--LINQ--to create queries, modify types by using extension methods, and construct data structures by using generics. Learn how to utilize the robust Visual Studio IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to write tests, debug and debug your code.
To be eligible for this Track, We recommend that you complete our Beginner C# Track.
The initial 4 hours of your training will focus on LINQ querying. Learn the basics of querying, how to use functional programming, and use advanced operators to tackle problems using information about birds.
Then, you'll learn about the essentials of working with Visual Studio, such as GitHub basics, debugging, and more.
Then, we'll participate in 2 C# workshops: one focused on Extension Methods and the other on building data structures using C# Generics. These skills will help you take you and your C# knowledge to the next step and assist you in working more effectively working with data.
We'll wrap everything by completing a two-hour course about unit tests. Learn how to write unit tests and test-driven development using the most widely used tools and techniques.
