What you would learn in Create Your 3D MOBA Game for Mobile Using Godot course?
This course will guide you to get started on your future 3-D-MOBA (Multiplayer Battle Arena Online) Game with Godot Engine and make sure that it is compatible with mobile devices!
The course is currently running Godot 3. x. It will be upgraded with Godot 4.x. when it is mobile-ready!
The course is well-divided into ten sections, each of which contains videos that relate to each section.
Learn the fundamentals of import of 3D character models from Mixamo and then Godot and then how to create an animation tree that can be flexible and allow your characters to be animated. Then, we'll build your 3D environment by the import of 3D objects in Godot and learning to manipulate them. Finally, we'll work on optimizing the asset for use on mobiles by using Lightmap Baking in Godot. We will explore the implementation of multi-touch and multi-resolution input options. Also, you will learn to use the particle system within Godot to create effects.
Then I'll walk you through the process of creating a lobby/room system to help you play. Then we will discuss the more advanced concepts of game networking like entity interpolation, clock sync, reconciliation, and more.. and how to use them in your next Game by using movement and fighting.
The next planned video is scheduled for release shortly. We will talk about how to authenticate users who play your Game and how you can build and save user information.
