Set up your Fair Scheduler to fix delays in applications
Our Method
Start by creating a Cloudera QuickStart VM (if you have a laptop with 16GB of RAM and quad Core). This will help you learn to use Cloudera Manager.
You'll be able to join GCP and get a credit of up to $300 while it lasts. Credits are valid for one year.
Then, you will be able to understand a brief introduction to GCP and how to set up Seven to Eight Virtual Machines with templates. You can also connect an external hard drive to set up HDFS later.
After servers have been provisioned, you can go ahead and install Ansible to manage Server Automation.
You will manage your local repository to Cloudera Manager and Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop with the help of Packages.
Then, you will set up Cloudera Manager with a custom database and, finally, Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop using Wizard, a component of Cloudera Manager.
In setting up the Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop, you will configure HDFS and know HDFS commands, set up YARN, and Configure HDFS and YARN High Availability. Learn about schedulers, Setup Spark, Transition to Parcels, Setup Hive and Impala, Setup HBase and Kafka, and more.
Course Content:
- Learn about Hadoop and Spark Administration using CDH
- Provide Cluster via GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to configure Hadoop in addition to Spark Cluster with CDH
- Setup Ansible is a server automation tool that allows you to set up the prerequisites for setting up Hadoop and Spark Cluster using CDH.
- Create a cluster of 8 nodes by hand using CDH
- Know how HDFS works. HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, Hue, and many more.
