What you would learn in MERN Stack Project Course 2022 - Build Fullstack React App?
In this course, you'll master how to use the MERN Stack by developing an incredible eCommerce application entirely from scratch. The app will not have just the essential functions like the shop cart and search function for products; however, it will also include advanced features like chats, real-time sales charts as well as attributes of the product (e.g., colors of the product available), and the creation of testing components using React and many more (see free videos and the curriculum).
MERN Stack is a well-known development toolkit for creating web-based applications. MERN is comprised comprising MongoDB (as a database), Express (a framework designed to make it simpler to utilize Node), React (to develop user interfaces) as well as Node (as a server). You will be taught how to blend the four technologies and build a sophisticated, fully responsive eCommerce application step by step.
In the initial part of the course, you will be taught the fundamentals of MERN Stack and its JSX extension. With JSX, we can quickly build components using React. I will also walk you through the application and offer some ideas on VS Code and downloadable resources. The rest of the course is all about walking through the process of creating every MERN Stack application from scratch with e-commerce as an example app. I will walk you through everything simply and understandably. You will be able to fully comprehend Redux by examining real-world scenarios.
We'll begin by downloading React and creating the HTML template for the whole app (using React Bootstrap). The template will be linked to subpages using routing.
Next, we'll set up ExpressJS to manage this Node server we will use for our application.
Then, we will join MongoDB. We will connect to MongoDB database and save sample information in this database, like the list of products available for the store.
We'll create an API via which the front end can retrieve information from the database, log in to the application, etc.
After you have the frontend code, backend, and API, We can then connect them and further develop the application, by adding the frontend's code with backend-related operations
The app for e-commerce has the following features:
Log in, sign in and register
Upload images to Clodinary and then to local disk
search or sorting pagination of the list of products
review system, reviews, and star rating system
real-time sales charts
Install the application on Heroku
React to local state
Beautiful, functional programming with React Hooks
Learn How to Mix MongoDB, Express, React, NodeJS (MERN Stack)
How to Create Fullstack Web Applications (Frontend + Backend) By hand using MERN Stack
How Do You Make Testable and Reliable React Components
How to Test Your App with Jest and Postman/Insomnia
