What you would learn in Python REST API with FastAPI, Amazon RDS & Elastic Beanstalk course?
Welcoming you to Python REST API that uses FastAPI Amazon RDS and Elastic Beanstalk; in this course, we will develop a Python REST API using FastAPI. Additionally, we will be learning how to connect Amazon RDS using FastAPI and how to implement the Python REST API to Elastic Beanstalk; first of all, let's talk about FastAPI Elastic Beanstalk. Also, we will discover how to create Asynchronous APIs using Python and FastAPI.
What is FastAPI?
FastAPI is a Web framework for developing RESTful APIs in Python.FastAPI is based on Pydantic and type hints to validate, serialize, and deserialize data and automatically auto-generate OpenAPI documents. It fully supports asynchronous programming and can run with Unicorn and Gunicorn.
What exactly is Amazon RDS
Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) is a distributed relational database service offered by Amazon Web Services. It's a web-based service that runs "in the cloud" designed to make it easier to set up operations, operations and a database scaling for applications.
What is Elastic Beanstalk?
AWS Elastic Beanstalk is an orchestration service provided through Amazon Web Services for deploying applications that orchestrate various AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Simple Notification Service, CloudWatch, autoscaling, as well as Elastic Load Balancers.
The course is split into various sections.
1: In the beginning section, we will give an accessible introduction to FastAPI. Also, we will learn about the installation process.
2. In the 2nd section, we'll understand the basic concepts of FastAPI. In this section, we integrate Amazon RDS (Relations Database Service ) in conjunction with FastAPI, and at the end, we can deploy the Python REST API on Heroku.
3. In the third section, we will discover how to build synchronous APIs using Python and FastAPI. We will discuss the user system, authorization system, API token authentication, and router, and finally, we will deploy our application on Amazon Elastic Beanstalk; after that, we will purchase the domain name through Amazon Route53 and add our customized domain to the Python REST API, and at the end, we ask for an SSL Certificate from Amazon Certificate Manager and then we protect your Python REST API.
4. In the final section, we will discuss the tortoise ORM (Object Relational Mapper ), and we will present some case studies
