What you would learn in Build Pantry App using SwiftUI, MVVM, Firebase, Firestore course?
DevTechie is pleased to welcome you to our new course. This course will teach you how to create an app using SwiftUI. You will build a Pantry app from scratch. Along the way, you will also learn about the MVVM (Model View ViewModel) design pattern. This course will use Firebase as the backend, and we will save our data to firebase's Firestore cloud storage database. Learn how to access Firestore's Firestore database and create, edit, delete and update items. To better organize our code, we will create a central repository for managing firebase operations. We'll then build Model, View, and ViewModels around this code. While you build the SwiftUI user interface, we will teach SwiftUI components and how to use them. We will also show you how view models fit in the SwiftUI space. Combine's publisher feature will be used to publish data from firebase and display them as a list. A generic analytics wrapper will be created that can be used in all of your projects. To create the generic analytics wrapper, we will use protocol-oriented programming. The app will then be used to report analytics events directly into firebase's dashboard. Your wrapper can be designed to publish your analytics events to multiple analytics providers with just one call.
