Apple has updated its Playgrounds iPad to now allow developers to develop apps! Utilizing SwiftUI, the new Apple development framework for design, users can design and develop apps through your iPad. You can also upload your apps in the App Store by using playgrounds to show off your creations to the world.
In this course, I'll guide you through creating several apps and guide you through submitting your application for approval to the App Store. App Store. The course begins by helping you build an initial base application of your app using SwiftUI. SwiftUI allows you to build applications on the fly and observe the changes and tweaks you make in real-time! Once we've got a solid understanding of SwiftUI, then we can move on to creating two apps.
The first application that is available for download is Choppy Copy. A Text Modifier app allows people to alter text's capitalization easily and then copy text to the clipboard. We'll later develop Sun Fun, an app that lets you know the sunset and sunrise times for any place in the world at any time! Learn how to use Maps, Calendars/Dates, and Maps with this application.
Then, we'll complete our Sun Fun course and submit it to the App Store.
