What you would learn in Let's Build a Go version of Laravel: Part Two course?
This is the sequel course to "Let's Build a Go Version of Laravel" and is aimed at students who have already completed the course!
At the beginning of the series, created an easily re-usable Go module that provided us with lots of features such as HTML, JSON, and XML response types as well as assistance for Go templates as well as Jet templates for rendering pages, support for multiple databases sessions, multiple databases, and more. This time we'll upgrade our Celeritas package and include the following features:
Support remote file systems like Amazon S3 buckets, Minio SFTP, Minio, and WebDAV
Include the ability to support Social Authentication through GitHub as well as Google (and you can add as many as you want)
Include support for better testing, such as a Go version of the Laravel Dusk program, which captures screenshots of browsers while testing functions that render the web page
Include support to "maintenance mode" using Remote Procedure Calls (RPC)
Enhance our database migrations so that they include both raw SQL as well as soda's Fizz format.
Implement upload functionality for files (with support for both remote and local file systems)
Different logics and paths for the web and API
Facilitate users to build tests by pre-populating stub tests files and the necessary setup_test.go files for their project.
When you've completed this course, you'll be armed with a good knowledge of all the above-mentioned aspects and a flexible codebase to aid you in launching the next task.
