The first part of the article will not solely be focused on Vue JS. It is necessary to have a database to ensure that our application is dynamic and in line with the current standards. The database we'll be using in this class is cloud Firestore, a product from Firebase. In Firestore, we will save our information about exchanges, opportunities, and user profiles, and they will be stored as documents within collections. More details on this will be covered within the tutorial.

In the next section, after which, you'll begin learning about Firebase authentication. I will demonstrate how to log in and sign up using Firebase. Once the user has logged in, we'll show our application, with only users who have authenticated access to the application.

The principle idea behind this app is to allow users to exchange products. We will create a page where users can make exchanges for products or services of any kind, and we will create several inputs of various kinds. Once the exchange is complete, it will be shown on the Home page and available to the other members. I'll show you how to verify forms using the well-known Vuelidate program.

We will create a system to facilitate trade exchanges among users in the future. Opportunities are exchanges offered that users can accept or decide to reject. Any user who has logged in can request an exchange by offering their exchange in a counter-offer. The submitted exchange must have an identical or comparable value to the one that we currently use for it to be accepted as a valid exchange by our system. When an exchange proposal is made, and the possibility is created. If the opportunity is accepted, users will be provided with contact details regarding the person they can exchange the item with.

In the following section, we will be working with pagination and search capabilities.

In the next section, we will discuss security guidelines for Firestore, and, finally, we will be deploying our application to Heroku to make it available to family and friends.
